You’ve seen the creative power box art around Mira Mesa. Mr. Leo Angelo Reyes, an art instructor and owner of Leo Angelo Art, coordinates a group of local artists to produce the power box art that brightens our days.
Leo Angelo is also in charge of the Public Art Committee of the Mira Mesa Town Council.
The cost of paint and supplies is covered by donations and grants. However, in this time of COVID the grants that recently assisted with the costs are no longer available.
The Mira Mesa Community Foundation, at the request of the Mira Mesa Town Council, has established the “Mira Mesa Public Art Fund” to accept donations to purchase paint and supplies for this project. All donations will go directly to the costs of painting and maintaining the power box art program in Mira Mesa.
The Mira Mesa Public Art Fund is managed by the Mira Mesa Community Foundation, which is recognized by the IRS as a not for profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Your donation to the Mira Mesa Community Foundation is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Our EIN is 27-3224599.
